Cleaning personal protective equipment

Ultrasonic baths for cleaning respiratory masks.

Respirators are dirty after each use and can be contaminated with pathogens or hazardous substances.
To restore readiness for use and to avoid health risks, respiratory protective equipment must be cleaned and disinfected after use in accordance with applicable regulations.

Especially for this application, BANDELIN offers a complete solution that has proven itself with many users, e.g. the fire brigade - cleaning with high-performance ultrasound. The masks are placed in a SONOREX SUPER ultrasonic bath with the biodegradable cleaning concentrate TICKOPUR R 33 or STAMMOPUR 24 for a few minutes and the dirt deposits are gently removed in an environmentally friendly way. The ultrasound creates microscopically small bubbles which, when they implode, gently remove the dirt even from hard-to-reach places. The service life is considerably extended by this gentle cleaning method, and time and costs are saved. Ultrasonic baths in various sizes as well as a wide range of accessories are available for a high cleaning volume.

Different unit types of the SONOREX series in combination with a well thought-out basket solution with dividers allow simultaneous reprocessing of 2 to 15 respirators, depending on the unit type.
