Sonication vessels are mounted directly on the external thread of the step or booster horn. Both are particularly well suited for emulsifying, mixing or homogenising. The liquid is pumped from below against the sonicating surface of the horn, passes directly through the cavitation field and leaves the chamber via the outlet. Recirculation sonication is also possible.

Rosette cells RZ

Due to the sound pressure, the sample is pressed against the bottom of the vessel and thus through the three side arms and can circulate well. When the Rozette cells are placed in an ice bath, the contents are effectively cooled because of the increased glass surface and good circulation.

Stainless steel PA vessels for direct sound reinforcement

They are mounted directly on the external thread of the step or booster horn. Both are particularly suitable for emulsifying, mixing or homogenising. The liquid is pumped from below against the sonicating surface of the horn, passes directly through the cavitation field and leaves the chamber via the outlet. Recirculation sonication is also possible. The degree of sonication depends on the set amplitude as well as the flow rate.

Public address vessels for indirect sound reinforcement

Indirect sonication prevents direct contact of the sonotrode with the sample. The function is like a small high-intensity ultrasonic bath. The ultrasound is transmitted via the contact liquid into the sample vessels, an entry of titanium particles of the sonotrode is excluded. Indirect sonication is used especially for sonication of smallest sample volumes: foaming or sample loss are excluded. The method is well suited for sonication of pathogenic samples - cross-contamination is excluded.

BB 6 sonication cup or BR 30 cup resonator are mounted directly on the ultrasonic transducer instead of the horn and probe. The samples are placed in the BB 6 or BR 30 with the matching reaction cup holder EH and sonicated from below. Cavitation is produced in the contact liquid and transferred to the samples.
