A step horn (SH) amplifies the amplitude generated by the ultrasonic transducer with its concentrating design. The stepped horn is provided with an internal thread for mounting a sonotrode. The external thread is used for the pressure-tight connection of sonication vessels. Separate adapters are available depending on the sonication vessel.
