Pipe reactors enable intensive flow-through sonication of high volume flows in process engineering and are also used for wire cleaning.

Tubular reactor SONOBLOC 2 inch

The BANDELIN tubular reactor enables the flow treatment of high volume flows in process engineering and is also used in wire cleaning. The oscillating systems are mounted on the outside of the reactor tube, which means that there is no need for internals inside the reactor tube. The tubular reactor is therefore particularly insensitive to blockages when sonicating substrates containing solids.

Applications:

  • Ultrasonic intensive treatment of flexible filamentary products and of wire- or belt-shaped endless profiles
  • Acceleration of disintegration and/or decomposition of organic material to increase biogas yield and in the treatment of sewage sludge
  • Support for the disinfection of fish farm recirculating waters contaminated with germs and parasites

Tubular reactor SONOBLOC 3 inch

The 3-inch tubular reactor was developed for the ultrasonic treatment of high volume flows or substrates with a high solids content. Due to the unique design, there is no need for internals or a change in the cross-section in the reactor, which makes the tubular reactor particularly insensitive to blockages. The BANDELIN tubular reactor is primarily used in biogas plants to increase the biogas yield by comminuting the biogas substrate.
