Clean climbing holds

Cleaning of climbing holds.

Deposits of magensium carbonate (chalk), sweat and rubber abrasion on the climbing holds (polyurethane, polyethylene) deteriorate the grip when climbing and suggest a worn impression. In successful climbing and bouldering halls, the holds must therefore be regularly dismantled and cleaned. However, cleaning by hand brush, in the dishwasher or with a high-pressure cleaner has so far been less suitable and particularly time-consuming. With ultrasonic cleaning, the dirt particles can be removed from the pores of the surface thoroughly and quickly. The handles are cleaned for 5-10 minutes in the ultrasonic device. Depending on the size of the handles and the choice of device, 10-15 handles can be cleaned at the same time. After the intensive ultrasonic cleaning, the climbing holds regain their original grip.

Especially for climbing and bouldering, the company BANDELIN offers a complete solution that has proven itself with many users - cleaning with high-performance ultrasound. The dismantled holds are put into a SONOREX SUPER ultrasonic bath with the biodegradable cleaning concentrate TICKOPUR TR 13 or TICKOPUR R 27 for a few minutes at 50 °C and the dirt deposits are gently removed in an environmentally friendly way. The ultrasound creates microscopically small bubbles which, when they implode, gently remove the dirt even from hard-to-reach places. After cleaning, the climbing holds regain their original grip strength. The service life is considerably extended by this gentle cleaning method, and time and costs are saved. Ultrasonic baths in various sizes as well as extensive accessories are available for a high cleaning volume.
