An effective cleaning process for robotic instruments demonstrably comes about when, through permanent movement, the working tools and wire rope hoists
of the instrument can be optimally achieved by the ultrasound. TRISON is an innovative, modular ultrasonic bath for the intensive pre-cleaning of
high-quality medical instruments with a special focus on robotic instruments.
The new standard in pre-cleaning robotic instruments
The core of the TRISON is the innovative TRISON Twist movement unit for up to four robotic instruments. Special spring-loaded drivers engage the underside of the instruments and move them during sonication. The surgical working tools are rotated and actuated at the tip for an all-round ultrasound effect. Integrated slip clutches prevent damage to the delicate cable pulls and drive rollers.
In addition, the cleaning process is supported by a permanent flushing of the instruments. For this purpose, the instruments are connected to the rinsing circuit of the TRISON Base control unit via hoses. Impurities that are sucked off go directly into the replaceable filter and thus do not get back into the bath fluid. Various test series with real contaminated instruments and additionally with standardised test contaminants confirm the effectiveness of the new TRISON cleaning concept.

We have developed additional practical accessories for our tried-and-tested TRISON 4000.2 ultrasonic baths that further automate the entire process and thus make the user's work process considerably easier.
DU 4000 dosing unit
The integrated dosing unit automatically fills with water and cleaning agent, enables the water to be changed and the oscillating tank to be emptied. A fill level sensor prevents overfilling and incorrect dosing. The unit is operated via the touch display on the base. The unit is low-maintenance and the canister is easy to change. The set includes a pump unit, a scale, an electric ball valve and a pipe combination.
Cleaning gun RP 5
The built-in cleaning gun is particularly practical as it allows the instruments to be rinsed after the actual cleaning process and can also be used to thoroughly clean the empty oscillating tank afterwards. The gun is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel. It is approved as a medical device and can be both thermally disinfected and reliably sterilised.
Hinged cover D 4000 K-R
The integrated hinged lid makes a significant contribution to reducing the noise generated by the ultrasound and thus ensures a more pleasant working environment. When open, it automatically remains in the desired position, which makes handling easier and saves additional space. As the lid is made of transparent plastic, continuous visual control and monitoring of the process is possible at all times without restriction.
DU 4000, RP 5 and D 4000 K-R can be retrofitted
The DU 4000 dosing unit can easily be retrofitted to all existing TRISON 4000.2 ultrasonic baths. A special retrofit kit is available for this purpose, which can be ordered in addition to the DU 4000.
The retrofit includes:
the installation of a level sensor in the existing oscillating tank,
the replacement of the existing drain set and
a possible software update of the base to be able to operate the DU 4000 conveniently via the large touch display.
It is not possible to retrofit the DU 4000 directly to the older TRISON 4000 model. In this case, a conversion to the TRISON 4000.2 model would first be necessary.
The RP 5 cleaning gun can be retrofitted to all variants of the TRISON series as well as to other ultrasonic built-in devices such as the SONOREX ZE. The only requirement is an additional water connection.
The hinged cover D 4000 K-R can also be retrofitted if necessary, depending on the local conditions and the installation situation in stainless steel enclosures.
