Description
Effective corrosion protection after ultrasonic cleaning with TICKOPUR preparations and subsequent rinsing with water of dismantled and undismantled machines, tools, equipment and parts in industry, crafts and laboratories. TICKOPUR KS 1 is to be used especially in SONOREX ultrasonic units, but also for immersion, wiping and high-pressure treatment. When used properly, effective corrosion protection for hall storage is guaranteed.
TICKOPUR KS 1 protects:
grey cast iron, hard metals, unprotected steels of various alloys from corrosion and removes cleaning solutions as well as contamination from the last cleaning or rinsing bath.
TICKOPUR KS 1 solutions have a corrosion-inhibiting effect. The corrosion protection is not oily or greasy after drying.

Solutions from 1.5 %, which are prepared with city water, may become cloudy. To avoid turbidity, TICKOPUR KS 1 should be prepared with deionised water.
Instructions for use
Ensure that the objects are completely wetted. Insert hollow objects in such a way that the air escapes completely from the cavities. Ultrasonic rinsing is advantageous for complicated geometries. It is recommended to heat the ready-to-use solution up to 80 °C so that the parts can be rinsed after the
treatment can dry quickly due to its own heat. During subsequent drying, the temperature must not exceed 130 °C. The corrosion protection can be rinsed off with water.
Material compatibility
TICKOPUR KS 1 is suitable for all ferrous metals. Preliminary tests on the resistance of sensitive materials are recommended. TICKOPUR KS 1 can be removed with water or aqueous cleaning agents without leaving residues.
