In pathology as well as in the analysis laboratory, ultrasound is now an integral part when it comes to fast diagnostics and high process efficiency. The SONOCOOL now combines the process-accelerating effect of ultrasound with simultaneous cooling of the samples.

Bone decalcification is an important process step in the histological diagnosis of samples, e.g. in the field of oncology, as only decalcified samples can be prepared without artefacts for subsequent diagnosis. The previously lengthy process can now be significantly accelerated compared to conventional methods using ultrasound. At the same time, the morphological structure of the samples is preserved thanks to the integrated cooling. This avoids an inferior specimen and - associated with this - a more difficult or impossible diagnosis. The findings are available more quickly.
