Ultrasonic cleaning of tattoo accessories

Health protection is always a top priority in tattooing and continues to gain in importance. During tattooing, the skin is injured by fine needle pricks, which increases the risk of infection. To prevent the spread of transmissible diseases and to protect clients and tattoo artists, particular focus must be placed on hygiene. In addition to surface disinfection of trays and tattoo chairs, safe reprocessing of tools is of high importance. Small tools such as tattoo needles and other machine accessories can be cleaned and chemically disinfected with an ultrasonic bath. The procedure ensures the effective removal of impurities such as paint but also blood and skin flakes. Treatment in an ultrasonic bath is gentle on materials, saves time and is more economical in the long term than using disposable products.

Cleaning - Disinfection - Sterilisation

The use of an ultrasonic bath is recommended for cleaning the tools and instruments. For example, the ultrasonic bath SONOREX RK 31 and the cleaning preparation TICKOPUR R 33 are optimally suited. After cleaning, the tools and instruments are rinsed with tap water to remove residues of the cleaning agent and carefully dried. This is followed by disinfection with a suitable instrument disinfectant and finally sterilisation (e.g. steam sterilisation).

STAMMOPUR 24 can be used as an alternative for cleaning and chemical disinfection.

Disinfection and cleaning preparations

The optimum effect of ultrasound requires the use of special disinfection and cleaning preparations. These must have cavitation-promoting and material-protecting properties for use in the ultrasonic bath. Protection of the objects and the oscillating tank must be guaranteed even during intensive use. Many disinfection and cleaning preparations may contain components that attack the stainless steel oscillating tank. STAMMOPUR preparations have been specially developed for use in the ultrasonic cleaner. Medical products, CE-marking. All preparations are environmentally friendly, biodegradable and easy to dispose of.
